BucketMate is a modern, native S3 file manager for macOS, iOS, and Web. It connects to AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Supabase Storage, and any S3-compatible storage provider.

## Mission
Managing cloud storage should be fast, reliable, and private. BucketMate replaces slow cloud web consoles with an ultra-fast, native interface designed for day-to-day object management.

## Local-First Security Architecture
- **Zero Intermediary Servers**: S3 credentials and file contents are never transmitted to, stored on, or routed through BucketMate servers.
- **Direct Client-to-Storage Requests**: All S3 operations are signed on your local device and sent directly to your cloud storage endpoints.
- **Secure Keychain Storage**: Access keys, secret keys, and session tokens are encrypted in macOS Keychain on macOS and iOS, or locally in browser profiles on Web.

## Supported Platforms & Providers
- **macOS**: Native Swift app optimized for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 13+.
- **iOS**: Native iPhone and iPad app with Face ID protection and Files app integration.
- **Web**: Browser client for quick access on any desktop platform.
- **Providers**: AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Supabase Storage, and custom S3 endpoints.
