## What can I manage with BucketMate?

BucketMate covers day-to-day S3 work: browse buckets, upload and download objects, move or rename files, preview common formats, search, create presigned share links, and organize multiple connections into workspaces.

## Will it work with my S3 provider?

BucketMate supports AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO, and Supabase Storage, plus other services that expose an S3-compatible endpoint. Add the endpoint, region, and access credentials to connect.

## Which version of BucketMate should I choose?

Choose the native macOS app for Keychain storage, AWS profiles and SSO, and the best Mac experience on macOS 13 or later. Choose the iOS app to manage S3 buckets on your iPhone and iPad with Face ID security and Files app integration. Choose the Web app for browser access on macOS, Windows, or Linux.

## Where are my credentials and files sent?

Your credentials stay on your device and are never sent to BucketMate servers. The macOS and iOS apps store them securely in Apple Keychain, while the Web app keeps them in your browser profile with optional passkey encryption. S3 requests and object data go directly between your device and storage provider.

## Can I use restricted S3 credentials?

Yes. BucketMate only performs actions allowed by your provider credentials. If your credentials can access specific buckets but cannot list the whole account, enter those bucket names manually when creating the connection.

## Does BucketMate replace my provider console?

BucketMate is built for everyday object and bucket management. Keep your provider console for IAM policies, billing, and advanced provider-specific settings.

## What can I do on the free plan?

The free plan does not expire. It includes one connection, one workspace, single-file operations, uploads up to 100 MB per file, and file previews. Pro unlocks unlimited connections and workspaces, bulk operations, and priority support.

## Is this a one-time payment or subscription?

BucketMate uses a one-time payment model across all platforms (macOS, iOS, and Web). Buy once and get lifetime access to the app, including all current and future features. No recurring fees.

## What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Polar (https://polar.sh) processed by Stripe for macOS, Web, and Universal licenses. Standalone iOS app purchases are also available directly via the Apple App Store.

## How much is the iOS app?

BucketMate for iOS is available on the Apple App Store for a one-time purchase of $19. It is also included with the Universal License ($39), which gives you access to all available platforms.

## Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, for macOS, Web, and Universal purchases through our website we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If BucketMate doesn't meet your expectations, email us at support@bucketmate.app and we'll refund your purchase without needing to provide a reason. App Store purchases follow Apple's standard refund policy.

## Do I need to pay for updates?

No. All current and future features are included in your one-time purchase. Free automatic updates are included across all platforms.

## Can I use the same license across macOS, iOS, and Web?

Yes, if you purchase the Universal License! The Universal License gives you access to all available platforms (macOS, iOS, and Web) on up to 5 devices in total. You can activate the macOS native app and Web version with your license key, and unlock Pro on the iOS app by signing in with your purchase email. Standalone macOS ($29) and Web ($19) licenses work on their respective platforms (up to 2 devices each). The standalone iOS app ($19) can also be purchased directly on Apple's App Store.

## How can I remove an activated device?

Go to https://polar.sh/david-tran/portal/request, then log in with your purchase email to access the license management dashboard where you can deactivate devices.
